Job Requirements
- - National Senior Cerfitificate
- - Rigger Red Seal Trade Certificate
- - N2 in related Field o Trade
- - Working at Heights Certificate will be adventurous
- - HIRA Certificate will be adventurous
- - Candidates must have a valid driver's license
- - Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mines
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies
- Conduct risk assessment for all jobs and ensure that all tasks are executed safely
- Working knowledge of all company and mine COP's and SOP's applicable to area of responsibility
- Remove, install and repair various types and sizes of equipment
- Perform various audits and test, upgrades and maintenance when required
- Perform repairs and emergency repairs and restore services when required
- Utilize winches and capstan to move loads as required
- Inspects, tag and ensure legal compliance of all lifting equipment, jacks and trestles
- Inspects and ensure legal compliance on crane and telehandler
